Lemonade on the Lawn & Sundae Sundays

Take 10 is a vital ministry of hospitality and of fellowship following the 11am service during the program year.  With the arrival of summer, warmer weather and the combined service summer schedule, Take 10 moves out to the Circle Drive and becomes Lemonade on the Lawn following the 10am service.  In August, Take 10 becomes Sundae Sundays and the menu is make-your-own-sundaes.  Each week an individual, family, or group friends sign up to act as hosts.  The host brings snacks and juice to share.  The idea for Take 10 grew out of discussions some years ago about ways to be a welcoming community.  Coffee Hour just seemed like too much, so now we "Take 10" minutes to greet friends and welcome newcomers.
