Second Saturday Service Knitting

A drop-in knit and crochet guild and ministry

Second Saturday Service Knitting, or SSSK for short, meets monthly as a drop-in service knit and crochet guild and ministry in support of the Philadelphia Seamen's Church Institute (SCI) "Christmas at Sea" program, and other organizations needing hand-made items. Join us on the second Saturday of each month, 10am to 11:30am, in the Parish Hall. All are welcome! SSSK is a lively gathering of service-oriented knitters and crocheters of varying experience, from novice to expert, wanting to serve and create in community. The completed projects are stored as they are created, and then donated to SCI and other organizations in need. Download an SCI knit/crochet pattern here, and serve, socialize and stretch with us!
