LENT 2021
Beginning on Ash Wednesday, Lent is a 40-day season of reflection and preparation for Easter. More than for somber reflection, Lent is traditionally a time of preparation to enter or re-enter into the mysteries of the resurrection and Easter Joy. Trinity offers several ways to deepen your Lenten discipline, through Study, Service, Sharing, Saving and the Saints. Let's get ready to receive the amazing, joyful news of Easter!
STUDY: Sundays at 11:15am by zoomLenten Sunday Adult Forum Series based on Amy-Jill Levine’s Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week. SERVE: A Lenten Service ProjectIn honor of National Women’s History Month in March and as a Lenten service project, please join us in collecting monetary donations to purchase women’s feminine hygiene products for St. Mary’s Food Cupboard and IHN/Family Promise. There is an astonishing lack of feminine hygiene products for people who are homeless or low income. SNAP and other welfare programs do not cover these necessary products. Each month, this leaves countless people without the products many of us take for granted. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we cannot collect individual purchases at this time, but your generosity in making a monetary donation would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be accepted through March 31st. Click the Donate button above and select Outreach at the “Use this donation for” prompt. Thank you for your support.
