Resources for families

One stop for the resources and announcements you need!

Picture
Each Friday, Illustrated Ministry sends out an email with free resources to accompany the Sunday morning lessons.
This week's resource for the fourth Sunday of Easter includes:
  • Acts 2:42-47 devotional and illustration & coloring page
  • Children's worship bulletin
You can use these during Sunday's worship, if you miss our digital Children's Ministry Zoom call, or as bonus at-home content for your week!
You can join their mailing list yourself on their website.

Reminder: Sunday, May 3

For Sunday morning Children's Ministry this week, please bring along the following items:
  • A piece of paper
  • Drawing utensils (markers, colored pencils, crayons)
  • 7 cotton balls or any approximate replacement
  • Adhesive material (glue, glue stick, tape)

Rite 13 Moves Forward Despite the Pandemic

We have a great group this year for Rite 13. Despite the current limitations, we have twelve teens working on their readings and “meeting" with their mentors online or by phone. This Sunday we have our first group Zoom session. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward.
Feeding Ministry Continues!

This weekend is the Feeding Ministry. Due to the current restrictions on larger gatherings, families are preparing meals in their own homes and delivering to the shelter in Upper Darby. Thank you to the Millett, Deppen, and Hauck-Runiewicz families for hosting this month. Sign up for future feeding Sundays here below.

An Exercise for Self-Calming
Breath Prayer

If you need a little help to make it through, today or any day, check out this self-calming practice. The Rev. Barbara Ballenger shares this with us as a practice that's just as easy and effective with kids as with adults.

Note: You’ll find this same breath prayer technique on the backpack tags we gave out in the fall! Here’s a reminder that it’s right there for you!
