Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
December 24 & 25, 2021
On Christmas Eve, we celebrated the birth of Christ in two, very different services of Holy Eucharist. The first service, at 5pm, featured a creative adaptation of the Christmas Pageant with child "players" organized to accommodate Covid precautions. Directed by Natalee Hill, narrated by our Rector, Fr. Ted, and accompanied by piano (Jim Smith), guitar (Nate Hill) and clarinet (Jesse Clemmer). Our second service of Holy Eucharist began with a Prelude of Christmas music. This led into a full choral Mass lit by candlelight and sung by the choir of Trinity Church, led by Organist and Choirmaster Jim Smith, with our rector preaching and presiding. Both of these services are available for viewing on our Trinity YouTube channel.
On Christmas morning, we enjoyed an intimate Holy Eucharist, a homily by the Rev. Paula Lawrence-Wehmiller, and a solo by Bella Englebach, alto.
